Since late February, both the Eye Associates employees and the Folk Art Market have been collecting used glasses, which has resulted in hundreds of pairs of glasses that have been read/neutralized and ready to be offered at the Resource Fair.
On Monday, July 11th a group of Eye Associates volunteers will be at the Artist Resource Fair offering services to the artists. Our volunteers will perform auto-refractions, glaucoma screenings, and dispense prescription glasses to interested artists. We also plan to distribute simple information on eye care, using images that can be understood by all.
This is the first year Eye Associates has participated in this event, and hope to be a participant in the coming years.
