Pediatric Optometry

Many of our optometrists provide general eye care for our pediatric patients aged 6 and above while a select number of our Doctor of Optometry perform pediatric eye care for the majority of our younger patients. Our pediatric optometrists perform a “kid-friendly” exam and have experience working with children. Along with a comprehensive eye health evaluation a careful screening for refractive error (need for glasses), amblyopia (lazy eye), and strabismus (misaligned or crossed eyes) is performed.
